Submission Period for the Original Bank Balance Certificate (For Admitted Students): January 9 (Fri) – January 30 (Fri), 2026

After uploading the bank balance certificate file to the Certificate of Admission application Google Form, you must submit the original document to the Office of International Admissions & Management at HUFS.

Important Notes:

※ If you already hold a visa that allows you to study abroad (such as an F visa, A visa, etc.), you are not required to apply for a Certificate of Admission, and submission of a bank balance certificate is also waived.

※ However, in order to verify that the applicant meets the eligibility requirements for studying abroad, additional supporting documents must be submitted. (e.g., a copy of a valid Alien Registration Card (front and back), or other documents that can verify the type of visa held and the period of stay).

※ Email subject: [Type of visa eligible for study (e.g., F-4 visa)] + uway application number

※ If the documents related to holding a visa eligible for study were already submitted at the time of application, no additional submission is required.

We will send the PDF file of your Certificate of Admission via e-mail. When applying for D-2 visa, please color-print the PDF and submit it to the Korean Embassy.

A or F visa with remaining validity do not need to apply

• A certificate of admission is valid for three months from the date of issuance.
• Once a semester has begun, the issuance of a certificate of admission will no longer be available.
• If your tuition payment cannot be confirmed, the issuance of the document will not be available.

Tuition Payment Receipt

• Please attach a file that can verify your tuition payment (e.g., receipt, screenshot of transfer completion, etc.).

Certificate of Bank Balance (PDF file)

• Bank balance must be above 20,000,000 KRW (Other currency possible)
• Certificate of bank balance must be issued within 30 days of application or Certificate including expiration date must be valid until the first day of class
• Even if a certificate of bank balance was submitted at the time of application for admission, it must also be uploaded when applying for the CoA
• In the case of a certificate of bank balance under the name of the parents, there is no need to submit a separate certificate of family relationship
• A copy of the certificate of bank balance can also be uploaded

A copy of the applicant’s Alien Registration Card (PDF file)

• Applicants who received Alien Registration Card in the past should submit the copy
